Mr. Rashed Majed Alabbar is heading the Etisalat E-Commerce Unit as the Director E-Commerce at the Etisalat Central Marketing. The portfolio includes Etisalat�s eCommerce, Mobile Commerce, and E-Commerce Security services. Currently, he�s also setting and implementing the strategies for Etisalat�s group wide E-Commerce & Mobile Commerce services. He�s also involved in introducing innovation to various marketing initiatives in Etisalat.

His past professional experience is in development, sales and marketing of eCommerce, eSecurity, eHosting and Managed Services for the UAE and the GCC region. Mr. Alabbar has over 15 years of experience in Information Technology. His experiences include assessing and establishing partnerships and alliances for enriching products, enhancing service delivery, increasing business value, and reducing cost of production. Rashed is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and has obtained his undergrad education from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, and a bachelor�s degree in Computer Science with Software Development emphasis.
